- has a minimum wage job (retail), where her boss is younger than she is. it sucks.
- is also apparently the ...chosen one? what?!
- one day on her way to work she's approached by a weirdo with pointy ears (is there a con in town?) who tells her she has a destiny to save the world. obviously, she thinks this is a joke.
- then weird things start happening. people following her. creepy guys in the dark. she starts having dreams of the world ending and of demons and magic
- turns out she can ACTUALLY DO MAGIC but like... who has time for all this?!
